A great spot for lunch when taking a break from the nearby Daereungwon Tomb complex. I got a table with no reservation on a weekday in November by being there when they opened at noon, but it was fairly full by 1pm. Unlike some Korean restaurants, this one offers excellent meals for solo diners (super-reasonable at KRW 14,000), & the staff speak English if your Korean is as primitive as mine. Tasty food, beautifully plated, in a calm traditional setting - highly recommended!
The main hotplate (beef & pork belly) was good but the soybean paste stew (krw2000) was absolutely delicious!!!
This restaurant is so good especially gogi hansang? that's very good and clerks very kind I recommend gogi hansang so good thank you
The beef BBQ and turmeric are lovely; the meat is so tender and well seasoned, and the cut is chunky so that u can get a mouth full of heaven (pork heaven ). It is a perfect pair if you drink it with makgeolli on a cold night. There was a queue when we arrived, but it moved pretty quickly. The chef (I assume) can speak English and explain the food options to us. They only provide a few options on the menu, but hell, they nail it perfectly.
Great food! The meat tasted absolutely amazing. Their soup was amazing too. Stunning traditional building. Prices are reasonable and our waiter spoke English. Would totally recommend
One of my favorite meals I had in South Korea! Food was delicious. I ordered the lunch set of grilled pork belly and was sooo good!! Meat was amazing. But also all the banchans were tasty and they were so many of them. The soup was comforting and the rice was also pretty nice. Price was great for the amount and quality of food you get. It's really centric, the guy that was serving was so friendly nad attentive, always checking if we needed a refill of the banchans. The place itself is beautiful, hanok style. It was the perfect meal!
That was exceptional. Loved everything about it. Amazing quality and a lot of food as well. Great value.
